Rules of Conduct

Conduct

One principle rules everything here: respect.

The community is the place to dance, compete and have fun. These rules exist to keep it that way, for everyone. They apply across the whole game and the community spaces: rooms, chat, nicknames and rankings.

What we don't tolerate

Cheating and hacks Racism and xenophobia Homophobia and transphobia Sexism and misogyny Hate speech Harassment and threats Pornographic content Scams and fraud

How the rules work

Here's how it works: we detect the behavior automatically or receive a report from another player, we review the case and, if the violation is confirmed, we apply the matching penalty. Every case is reviewed individually.

Penalty system

Penalties don't follow a fixed order. Depending on severity, a violation can lead straight to a ban.

1

Warning

A formal notice, with no loss of access. It corrects minor or first-time behavior.

2

Temporary suspension

Access is blocked for a set period, based on severity and repeat offenses.

3

Permanent account ban

The account is closed for good. This is where the most serious violations lead.

4

Hardware ban

In the most serious or repeat cases (especially cheats and attempts to evade bans), the block is tied to your computer. Creating a new account or reinstalling the game does not restore access.

Violations in detail

Respect for the community

Hate speech and discrimination

Permanent ban

Any message or behavior that incites hatred, hostility or violence against a person or group based on race, color, ethnicity, nationality, religion, gender, sexual orientation, gender identity, disability or any other characteristic.

Examples

  • Racism and xenophobia.
  • Homophobia and transphobia.
  • Sexism and misogyny.
  • Glorifying Nazism or hate groups.
  • Inciting violence against someone.
Penalty: Permanent account ban.

Toxic behavior and harassment

Warning → Perm. ban

Attacking someone's honor or dignity, stalking, humiliating, intimidating or embarrassing others, even when the behavior does not amount to hate speech.

Examples

  • Targeted insults and name-calling.
  • Stalking inside or outside rooms.
  • Repeated provocation.
  • Threats.
  • Sexual harassment.
Penalty: From a warning to a permanent ban, based on severity and repeat offenses.

Chat misuse

Warning → Suspension

Using chat to disrupt others, with excessive messages, fights or inappropriate content. This applies to everyone involved, not just whoever started it.

Examples

  • Flooding and spam.
  • Fights and arguments.
  • Chain messages and repeated advertising.
  • Inappropriate content.
Penalty: From a warning to a temporary suspension.

Offensive nickname or fam name

Warning → Perm. ban

Using your nickname (IGN) or a fam name to offend, discriminate or display inappropriate content.

Examples

  • A nickname with a prejudiced, offensive or hateful term.
  • A nickname with sexual or inappropriate content.
  • Using the nickname to threaten or attack others.
  • A fam name with any of the above content.
Penalty: From a warning (with a request to change it) to a permanent ban, based on the content.

Fair play

Cheats, hacks and automation

Perm. ban → Hardware ban

Using any unauthorized third-party program to gain an advantage or alter how the game works. This includes dance bots, macros, key automation, speed changes, and reading or modifying the game's memory. Detection is handled by our anti-cheat.

Examples

  • Auto-dance, "perfect hack" and key scripts.
  • Macros that play for you.
  • Speed hack.
  • Memory editors.
  • Using, sharing, teaching or condoning any of these programs.
Penalty: Permanent account ban. In serious or repeat cases, the ban can extend to your computer (hardware ban).

Bug and exploit abuse

Suspension → Perm. ban

Exploiting flaws in the game, the economy or scoring instead of reporting them. Found a bug? Report it to the team.

Examples

  • Exploiting a bug that grants undue den, EXP, items or score.
  • Repeating a flaw on purpose to profit.
  • Taking advantage of server instability to break the rules.
Penalty: From a temporary suspension to a permanent ban, with removal of any gains from the flaw.

Ranking manipulation

Suspension → Perm. ban

Faking results or inflating scores to climb the level, skill, couple or fam rankings, undermining fair competition.

Examples

  • Win-trading in couple or team modes.
  • Boosting someone else's account.
  • Manipulating season points.
  • Faking scores by any means.
Penalty: From a temporary suspension to a permanent ban, with removal of points and season placement.

Throwing and sabotage

Warning → Suspension

Deliberately ruining other people's matches, sabotaging your partner or team, or acting to spoil others' experience.

Examples

  • Leaving or going AFK on purpose to hurt the room.
  • Playing badly on purpose in couple or team modes.
  • Deliberately disrupting teammates.
Penalty: From a warning to a temporary suspension.

Integrity and security

Account security and use

Suspension → Perm. ban

You are responsible for your account. Sharing, lending, selling, buying or using someone else's account puts everyone at risk and breaks fair competition. Never lend your account: you answer for whatever happens on it.

Examples

  • Lending or sharing the account.
  • Selling or buying an account.
  • Offering or hiring a "medal service" (someone plays on your account, or you play on someone else's, to win tournaments or medals).
  • Using someone else's account.
  • Using a "smurf" to compete with an unfair advantage.
  • Trading accounts, items or den for real money outside official channels.
Penalty: From a temporary suspension to a permanent ban.

Bad-faith conduct

Suspension → Perm. ban

Deceiving, defrauding or harming other players, or undermining the credibility of the platform and the team.

Examples

  • Impersonating a team or support member.
  • Scamming other players.
  • Claiming special treatment for "knowing someone on the team" ("I won't get banned", "I'm friends with an admin").
  • Tricking players with false instructions.
  • Teaching or encouraging others to break the rules.
Penalty: From a temporary suspension to a permanent ban.

Improper advertising and scams

Suspension → Perm. ban

Using the game, chat or your nickname to advertise unauthorized content or run scams.

Examples

  • Advertising other servers or platforms.
  • Recruiting players elsewhere.
  • Link spam.
  • Scam, phishing or account-stealing links.
Penalty: From a temporary suspension to a permanent ban. Scams, phishing and malicious links lead straight to a permanent ban.

False or abusive reports

Warning → Suspension

Reporting is a serious tool. Using it to lie, harass or "set someone up" harms the whole community and the review of real cases.

Examples

  • Making up a report.
  • Faking or inducing a situation to frame someone.
  • Using reports to harass a player.
  • Sending mass bad-faith reports.
Penalty: From a warning to a temporary suspension; repeat offenses make it worse.

Attacks on the platform

Perm. ban → Hardware ban

Attacking, breaking into or attempting to compromise the game's systems, servers or protections. The most serious violation against the service.

Examples

  • Reverse engineering, decompiling or tampering with the client.
  • Removing, bypassing or degrading protections.
  • Bots, scrapers or data mining.
  • Overloading or attempting to take down the servers (DDoS).
  • Uploading files or code to damage the service.
Penalty: Permanent account and hardware ban, without prejudice to any applicable legal action.

How to report

Saw someone breaking these rules? Let us know. You need to be logged in to report, so every report has someone behind it and is taken seriously.

What to include: the offender's nickname (IGN), when it happened, the room or game mode, a description of what occurred and, if you have them, links with evidence (a YouTube video, a screenshot or an .arp replay hosted on a file service). The clearer and more complete, the faster we can act.

Report conduct

Report as soon as possible, ideally within 48 hours. After that, the team may choose not to review the report.

Worth remembering

Reviewed individually

Each report is reviewed on its own. Similar cases may receive different penalties, based on context, severity and history.

Penalties add up

Violations stack. A buildup of behavior, even minor, can lead to your account being closed.

This list is not exhaustive

We can't list everything. The principle behind all our rules is respect. Conduct that clearly goes against it can be penalized even if it isn't described here.

Final decisions

The penalty is decided and applied by the team, and the decision is final.

We don't share the evidence

To protect our detection methods, we don't disclose the evidence that led to a penalty.

We gain nothing and take no pleasure in banning anyone. If we do, it's because we detected misconduct.
